Stuff vs. Stress

Starting today, I’m committed to taking more steps towards minimizing. It’s a journey I started a few years ago and I still have more than I need! I’m giving myself 10 days to go through my condo—a little at a time will make a big difference. 🙌🏼🤍

I have significantly less stuff than I did years ago. I came out of a marriage with a ridiculous collection of things that I just put in storage. That's all gone now, I'm down to what I need. I live in a cute condo with a lot of books, too many clothes, and little things that are cute but not necessary. I want everything in my space to have a purpose or a significant meaning.

I’m letting go of plenty of clothes, books and all the little things I keep just incase.

My 2 things that always seem to regrow are clothes and books.

How about you?

My dear friend Jason Hegi shared his process, "A long time ago I removed anything that I thought had importance in my life for 2 weeks to gain appreciation and to understand what was not really important..simple and effective way to minimize or to simplify…”

Recently, I launched a new service called Mind Massage which developed from weeks of calls with clients, friends and family during our Covid-19 times and realized what I was doing was giving a….Mind Massage! People have been sharing with me how good they feel after our call, feeling soothed and nurtured allowing for some rest and ease into the mind and body. I felt it, too. Being part of these calls gives us both peace and I know everyone could use a bit more peace of mind and peaceful living.

Just like in your homespace, can you see how decluttering frees up your headspace?
